EL NUEVO JORDY EN INDO
Jordy Lawler es un joven que empieza a despuntar. Desde mediados de Noviembre sus resultados han sido increíbles. Se marcó una victoria en el Grom Fest del Sur de Australia, seguido de un viaje hacia el norte donde ganó el Volcom VQS en Goldcoast y unos días después se quedó a escasos puntos de llevarse el título de Australia Junior en la categoría sub-18, quedó segund en el Sunny Coaster Eli Steele.
Parte del éxito de Jordy se debe al apoyo de sus fieles seguidores. Su viejo amigo Dave, es un entrenador de surf muy respetado de Sydney quien ha viajado con su hijo y acompañado en todas las sesiones de fotos.
Jordy Lawler is a young kid on the rise. Since mid-November his results have landed more one-two’s than an Ali-Foreman fight. He nailed a win at the South Australian Grom Fest, followed that up with a North Coast road trip which netted him a runner-up in the Volcom VQS on the Goldy, and then a couple of days ago he was within a few points of taking away the Australian Junior title in the Under 18’s, eventually coming second to Sunny Coaster Eli Steele.
Part of Jordy’s recent success is due to the supporters in his corner. His old boy, Dave, is a well-respected Sydney surf coach who has travelled extensively with his son to comps and on photo trips. And then there’s the fact that the kid is managed and mentored by ’88 Pipe Master and World Champion, Barton Lynch. “I can’t explain how important he is to me,” said Jordy of B.L. “Even when I’m going through down stages he will lift me back up and help me with all the grief.”
Cool dad’s and World Champs aside, most of Jordy’s success can be credited to a proven formula of dedication and lust for the sport of surfing. In order to take his surfing to the next level the 16 year old plans to do some serious travel: “Fiji, Tahiti, America, Hawaii and the Maldives, and in between I’ll do some pro juniors.”
Keep your eyes peeled. In a few years time there may be two Jordy’s on the World Tour. And one of them will be tearing the world to pieces with an air game as solid as his power turns.

EL NIVEL DE BALI
Quizás muchos de vosotros ya conozcáis a Garut Widiarta; sobre todo los que hayáis viajado a Bali. Garut es un local de Kuta, Bali, que vive en Canngu. Surfea para Rip Curl desde que tiene 12 años y ahora a sus 22 años esta considerado como una de las grandes promesas. Es de los pocos indonesios, desde Rizal Tanjung, que esta destacando en el panorama internacional.
Garut Widiarta is a Balinese surfer that has been with Rip Curl since he was 12. Today the 22-year-old is recognized as one of the world's most promising teenage surfers, and he has received more high profile attention in the Indonesian and International media than any Indonesian surfer since Rizal Tanjung.

VERDADERA CUENTA ATRAS
El trabajo en Bali se acumula, el proyecto coge fuerza y las gestiones y duras tramitaciones ya han dado sus frutos. Todo ello sumado al trabajo de cada día me da muy poco tiempo para poco mas... Aún así, sigo buscando algún hueco para colgar los mejores videos del dia.
Todo esto se convertirá en un futuro en un Proyecto dedicado a cada surfer que quiera visitar Bali. Ahora más que nunca comienza nuestra particular cuenta atrás para la apertura de nuestro Hotelito...
The work builds up on Bali, the project takes strength and the procedures and hard efforts have paid off. All this added to the daily work gives me very a little time for some more ... Still, I'm looking for a recess to hang the best videos of the day.
All this will become in the future in a project devoted to each surfer who wants to visit Bali. Now more than ever our particular countdown begins to the opening of our little hotel.
