Después de una Semana Santa complicada en cuanto a condiciones meteorológicas, podemos decir que hemos pillado algunos días buenos que nos han servido para recargar las pilas. TE GUSTAN LAS IZQUIERDAS?

Acabo de llegar de un gran fin de semana de surf. Las condiciones no prometían nada del otro mundo pero gracias al buen conocimiento de unos amigos locales de la costa cantábrica, dimos con un pequeño paraíso donde nos pegamos un surfing de locura; y después de un fin de semana agotador llegó el momento de la vuelta que aprovechamos para salir pronto y así no pillar el tráfico de todos los domingueros que salieron a la sierra este fin de semana tan veraniego.

I just got a great weekend of surfing. The conditions didnt promise anything special but thanks to the good knowledge of some local friends of the Cantabrian coast, we found a little paradise where we had a great surf session, and after a tiring weekend it was time to return. I took the opportunity to leave early today cause i didnt want to catch all the traffic from all the trippers who came to the mountains this "summer" weekend.

KELLY SLATER EN MARGARET RIVER

Todavía sigue siendo debate sobre que hará Kelly Slater a corto plazo. Muchos dicen que se retirará definitivamente de la competición pero él sigue ahi. Han pasado muchos años desde que Slater no competía en Margaret River, y es que parece que con los años, lejos de dejar la competición, aún sigue más y más metido en ella. Kelly ha sorprendido a todos con su presencia en el Margaret River Pro y como siempre, lo hace pasando mangas como sólo él sabe.
Por cierto, Aritz Aramburu esta pasando las mangas sin problemas, que siga así.

La nueva película de Globe será reconocida como la obra maestra de Joe G (en lo que lleva de vida). Es una película de surf post-apocalíptico donde se restablecerán las normas de las películas de surf con ajustes de color, con una buena calidad de película, y por supuesto con increíbles tomas de surf con surfers de la talla de Taj Burrow, los Hobgoods, Dion Aigus, Nate Tyler, y Yadin Nicol. Dion Agius la calificó de "genial", como todos los trabajos de Joe G.

Son muchas las escenas que hemos visto del Tsunami de Japón, pero muy pocas enseñan con tanta realidad el tamaño que pueden llegar a alcanzar las olas. No os perdáis estas olas y como rompen contra los espigones de protección de este pequeño pueblo pesquero de Japón.
