La Expression Session del Roxy fue muy interesante. Carissa Moore no.3 (HAW) se llevó el premio a la "ola más entretenida". Silvana Lima (BRA) se llevó el premio al mejor aéreo.
Los organizadores del evento vuelven a reunirse para evaluar las condiciones para un posible inicio a las 7:30 am (hora local). Cuando se reanude el Quik Pro saldrá Bede Durbidge (AUS) 28, contra el wildcard Matt Banting (AUS) 16, y en el Roxy Pro Rebecca Woods (AUS) 26, luchando contra Courtney Conlogue (AUS) 18.

While official competition has been called off for the day, the respective Corona and Roxy Expression Sessions were staged. World Tour rookie Julian Wilson (Coolum, QLD) continued his impressive form claiming victory in both heats of the Corona Expression Sessions to win $2000 for his efforts. Brazilian Alejo Muniz and Josh Kerr (Aus) took home $1500 each for the best air maneuvers.
The Roxy Expression Session was equally entertaining with ASP World no.3 Carissa Moore (HAW) taking out the 'most entertaining wave' award. Silvana Lima (BRA) grabbed the $1500 for the best air maneuvers.
Event organizers will reconvene tomorrow morning at 6:30am to assess conditions for a possible 7:30am start. When competition resumes, up first will be Bede Durbidge (AUS), 28, up against wildcard Matt Banting (AUS), 16, in the opening men’s heat of Round 2 and Rebecca Woods (AUS), 26, battling Courtney Conlogue (AUS), 18, in the opening women’s heat of Round 2.
