MR. SLATER WINS THE HURLEY PRO

Slater retoma el puesto Nº1 del mundial tras ganar el Hurley Pro en unas condiciones perfectas. Slater se ha topado ya en varias ocasiones con Owen Wright, uno de mis surfistas preferidos, y le ha ganado al maestro en repetidas ocasiones (en Bells y Portugal). Slater, que ha probado el nuevo formato de competición, se habría ido a la calle cuando Owen le batió en la Ronda 4 pero gracias al nuevo sistema de repesca antes de cuartos ha podido llegar a la final y ganar. Slater takes the World Nº1 after winning the Hurley Pro in perfect conditions. Slater has met on several occasions with Owen Wright, one of my favorite surfers, and he has won to the teacher on several occasions (Bells and Portugal). Slater, who has tried the new competition format, it would have gone out of the contest when Owen beat him in Round 4 but with the new format he has been able to reach the final and win.
