Increíbles condiciones las que tuvimos ayer. Entro un swell limpio con gran periodo que nos dio una sesión inolvidable. Yo no tenía tabla para entrar con ese tamaño y mi buen amigo David (Petin para los amigos) me dejó un 7 pies. Una vez en el agua entraron series para tablas de 8 o 9 pies... fue increíble. En esta primera foto, Petín esta a punto de lanzarse a ese "Mamut" y la primera personita que se ve en la pared de la ola intentar pinchar soy yo... imaginaros el tamaño!. La foto esta tirada desde más de 500m de distancia... estamos a tomar por culo!
Petín como siempre apostaba por las grandes de la serie y sin duda se hizo unos cuantos bajadones muy heavys... Una lástima que nos quedaramos sin bateria en la cámara porque fue un día épico en la isla:
Incredible conditions that we had yesterday. Clean swell with great period which gave us a memorable session. I had no board to go with that size and my good friend David (Petin for friends) left me a 7 feet board. Once entered into the water we had sets for more than 8 or 9 feet boards... was amazing. In the first photo, Petín is about to embark on the "Mammoth" and the first little person you see on the wall of the wave trying to punch its me... imagine the size!. The picture was taken from more than 500m away!... so fucking far!
